Location: Sun Theatre - Yarraville or Village Theatre Sunshine
This social group caters for people who are over 55, physically independant, and are eligible for Home & Commmunity Care (HACC) services.
Two groups, servicing the Hobsons Bay and Maribrynong/Brimbank areas. Enjoy the latest movies monthly at Sunshine Village, Highpoint Cinemas or Sun Theatre, Yarraville followed by refreshments at a nearby restaurant or cafe.
A must for movie enthusiasts who have diverse cinematic tastes and an appetite for discussion.
Movies is a monthly program that includes the provision of transport and social support on movie outings.
The program provides clients with opportunities to be both physically and socially active whilst undertaking a community based activity.
Participants must adhere to safety recommendations to participate in the activity.
The movies program has a maximum of 8 participants and allows for enhanced socialisation.
